Can you adapt a operation wolf gun to work in Mame.

Can you adapt a operation wolf gun to work in Mame.
Operation Wolf used a lightgun (optical) sensor so that's not going to work, but Operation Wolf 3 used positional guns (with potentiometers) that can work using an analog encoder.
