Yeah, likewise. As well as the PC version I've previously bought 2 copies of Outrun 2 and 2 copies of Outrun C2C on the Xbox and Outrun Online Arcade on the PS3, so I feel I've contributed enough to not feel bad about the couple of versions I didn't pay for.

 If Sega ever regain the Ferrari license (unlikely I know) they should definitely stick you on the payroll with the intent of creating an 'Ultimate' version of Outrun 2, with ALL the content from ALL of the games.

Which ones are the extra stages again? The SCUD tracks?

Loafmeister:
Thank you for the release Howard.  I may not get a chance to try it until the holidays but your efforts are very appreciated and I am looking forward to trying it out.

Happy Holidays gentlemen!

I've been meaning to come on here and let you guys know how much I've been enjoying O2K6 with Howard's FXT patch recently. I've been away from racing games since around April so when I came back to play this, it put a huge smile on my face the entire time. I don't know if it's just placebo or the fact that I've been away from the game for so long, but something about the steering input to me feels more...."connected" if you will. The car seems to be responding to my analog steering inputs better than I remember it. The steering feels so smooth and "on the money" so to speak. There isn't even a hint of deadzone and it feels really great. Perhaps I finally got the settings dialed it to where I want them right before I stopped playing many months ago and forgot how good it felt lol.

Anyway I will grab this new version of FXT shortly and try it out.

Howard.....going by your comments above, I'm not sure but are you confirming that the Steam version of OR2K6 works with FXT now? I remember trying it a while back and it didn't inject into the the steam version at all, only the CD version. If not, can you please consider adding support to the Steam version?

The CD version has been known to give me odd graphical glitches every now and then. For example when going from one stage to the next, sometimes the camera will suddenly jump to some weird zoomed out helicopter view of the track for like 2 seconds, and then jump back to the normal camera view. Very jarring and bizarre.

Heck, I remember this even happened on my copy of the original Xbox verison many years ago. The Steam version however, never exhibited any of these issues.
