Hello all.

I've had a great time running groovymame on my Egret3 cabinet.. It's so awesome. :applaud:

Now this isn't an emulator based question. I decided to write a quick test of a Nw.JS game running @ 640x480 using WebGL in the vague hope of being able to make my own game to run on the cabinet..

On my regular work PC, this app runs at 60FPS or faster, but on the PC in my cabinet it only runs at half speed. The PC in my cabinet is fast enough to run the new cave games without issue, and is the same CPU clockspeed as my normal PC.

So, my questions are :

1. Did installing CRT Emudriver disable DirectX/OpenGL - or something that stops them from working?

2. 640x480 on my cabinet, most noticably on my 640x480 windows desktop, (when it's visible) has always had an interlace-y looking flicker, which doesn't seem to happen when I run a 640x480 game on my hardware Naomi system when I run a high res game like Ikaruga. - is this flicker simply something that cannot be avoided, or can it be improved?

Hopefully someone will be kind enough to assist.

What video card do you have in your cabinet?
Important note: posts reporting GM issues without a log will be IGNORED.
Steps to create a log:
 - From command line, run: groovymame.exe -v romname >romname.txt
 - Attach resulting romname.txt file to your post, instead of pasting it.

Hi Calamity, thanks so much for your awesome work!

Its a HD4870 - I looked at the resolution list and 480p isnt there, don't know if that is due to not upgrading the drivers or simply something the card can't do.

I'm going to update all the tools and drivers today regardless, If my card can't handle 480p , whats the most ideal, issue free card available?

Thanks again!

*update* after installing the drivers, I realized my settings in VMmaker were at 15khz.
We are good to go.

My apologies! :notworthy:
