NSM Digital Thunder Jukebox
« on: November 26, 2017, 02:43:25 pm »
Hi!

Hopefully im in the right place.  Ive just got my NSM Digital Thunder Jukebox out of storage to enjoy for Christmas.

Its not working properly.  1. The album sliders are no longer going across.  The motor tries to do something sometimes it is pressed but nothing happens.
2. I have set the jukebox to free credits.  But it no longer plays the full album when I press 00, but does play single tracks.

Any help very much appreciated as to whether it can be fixed by myself or might need a repair person to take a look.

Many thanks

u have 2 very different problems
1 is related to temp, the grease on the motor/slider for the covers is hard
see what it dose when it gets warmed up.?
1 is related to your nvram >this is a battery backed up ram chip<
it is a dallas chip with a black hood on it
if u need ref. #'s ask

Shipping something from the U.S. to Canada for repair/exchange?  Please use USPS to avoid (additional?/excessive?) shipping charges.  PM me if you have any questions.

Many thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I've kept the jukebox on and the slide cards are still not working. Also get a P31 error on power up..thinking I need to replace the board?

Many thanks.  I got an engineer around to fix this at a good price.  Replaced the battery and ram chip.  Replaced broken slider card that was broke at the back and put them all back in again and oiled some parts up.

Work great again.  Happy guy!
