Rowe MM5 Erratic Volume (4359A Amp)
« on: December 26, 2017, 01:39:19 pm »
Hello I have a 1970's Rowe MM5 Jukebox with a 4359A amp that has erratic volume.  It will work fine sometimes, but then vary on its own.  No rhyme or reason as to when it will vary, but if I mess with the volume control it is corrected for a short time.  I assume the issue has to do with the AMP.  I cleaned the volume knob/rheostat. I reseated the glass tubes and checked the connectors/wires.  Any advise on what may be going bad?  I have not pulled the amp out yet do to the large amount of wires and wanted to fix it in place if I could.
Thanks in advance.
Tom
