Rowe AMi CD 100 CCC 40832220 Firmware Versions?

(1/2) > >>

mpsabre:
Hello, does anyone know of a list of firmware versions for the Rowe CCC 40832220 computer controller?  The controller I have is in a Laserstar Eagle.  I've seen versions 3.0, 3.5, 3.6 , 3.9.  What are the differences between these?  And are there more versions?  If an update or upgrade is needed is there somewhere to download?

Thank you!
Mike

Ken Layton:
To the best of my knowledge, version 4.3 was the last version for the entire CD-100 series Central Control Computer boards.

Some versions are here:

The very latest version (5.3) for the mech control board is here (works with CDM12, CDPro, and CDPro2 players):

mpsabre:
Thank you Ken for the info.  Is there a list that describes what each version is for?  What corrections or enhancements each has?  Which Mech controllers and cd players will work with a certain firmware?
Thank you!
Mike

Ken Layton:
Rowe sent out a sheet listing all software versions, corrections, and improvement to attendees at the Rowe jukebox service clinics that were held all over the country back then. I had some of them, but they all got thrown away years ago. I don't know if anyone saved theirs.

I know our sheets for the software are all but long gone.  mainly bug fixes though. One version included support for the new (at the time) electronic volume control remote... Free play options during certain times and whatnot.

For the software, there is no reason to run anything but the latest version. (I think it's V4.X ... 4.2? 4.3?? it's been a minute.)
