Inktober 2017 gaming related
« on: November 08, 2017, 06:30:07 pm »
This year's Inktober wasn't as fruitful for me as the previous years. I've been in a bit of an art-funk in the last few months; creativity stifled, not motivated, not making the time, etc. But I always welcome October as a way of revving up the ol' art engine and getting me motivated to do art again.

This year I only did a few gaming related pieces. From top left:
- Centipede (Day 5: "long")
- Final Fantasy 7 (Day 6: "sword")
- Busted-up Boxer (Day 8: "crooked"..I was replaying Super Punch-out that day.)
- Galaga (Day 25: "ship")

All done with Copic ink pens, and a Posca white pen. Except for Galaga which was done in watercolor and Copic ink.

Halfway through the month I started re-learning watercolor painting, my Galaga painting being part of those sessions, but I painted this for Halloween and not really part of the inktober:

Figured I'd share with my fellow gamers here.  Anyone here participate in Inktober this year?  Posts your drawings if so!

I envy people that have the talent, and the disciple to develop that talent. That is nice work.
