Muramasa is great, but it gets repetitive real fast... especially when you start back-tracking.

Sorry man but Star Fox 64 is the best version of Star Fox.... it isn't crippled by hardware like the snes originals and yet it isn't a clunky title converted to Star Fox like the gamecube version.  Lots of great n64 games.

Yeah the only prob with the 64 is its not aged well.
The GFX are ugly and the joysticks are terrible!

But I still love it lol

It may be, but every time they talk it really takes me out of it. Ugh, they should have kept to the old  nintendo gibberish voice over.

Best version of Mario Kart for sure.  None of that moronic partner stuff from Double Dash and it hadn't been ruined by snaking yet.

Dear god I think me and my friends spent three solid years just playing Mario Kart 64 back in the day.  Bowser and Wario were the ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- ......  the are slow to get going but you can't spin 'em out.

Hmm, now that I have this out and all set-up, I guess I should give Metroid: Other M another shot. I didn't buy it back when it was released because of all the bad reviews from peers and websites, but since I've got this thing hacked...

Other M is a really good game flawed with two very glaring issues.... the stupid story and a questionable missile gimmick that forces you to change perspectives.  That's been the consensus the whole time afaik.    I think you are confusing reviews with punchlines as it's been the butt of every joke since.

opt2not are you using the Nintendo brand component cables or third party? If third party, do you know what brand? The images in your screenshots look good. I am debating whether I need to spend more on the original cables or if I can get buy with some cheap aftermarket ones and not lose any image quality.

I've got the Nintendo branded component cables, but a quick google search has shown that a lot of people seem to be fine with the cheaper third-party ones.

The feedback I had read was hit and miss. Some people said the aftermarket cables worked great. Some said they sucked and they ended up buying the Nintendo ones. I was just hoping I could get the name of a specific brand of aftermarket cable that other peeps were using that seemed to work well. I might just suck it up and buy some OEM ones on eBay to be safe.

Not sure about the Wii specifically but I found aftermarket cables for my N64 to be junk and washed out the picture.
OEM ones worked great but from what I read its to do with the resistance of the cable.
You could make them work by soldering a small resistor in line.

But easier to get original cables IMO lol
