Ultimarc Ultrastik Not Working for Analag MAME Games
« on: October 12, 2017, 11:52:59 pm »
I have Ultimarc Ultrastiks.  They work well.  However, with all MAME games that require/use the AD Stick, my joysticks do not work and are not even recognized by MAME.  Very strange thing is that all other MAME games - ones that do not use AD Sticks - recognize my Ultrasticks.

So, for example, I could start 1941, go to general input settings and set the AD Stick axes (even though 1941 does not use them...I am in the general settings).  But when I open Empire Strikes back, while it reveals that I have mapped the AD stick axes 9while 1941 was open), the sticks do not function.  If I go to the general input settings while playing Empire, the AD exes no longer recognize input from my Ultrastiks.

I do not have specific Ultramap config files for any of these games

The U360 appears as a standard analog game controller so information pertaining to other such controllers should apply.

There are a number of threads on Star Wars with analog. Example:
