Says its a quad core CPU with a gig of RAM. SNES should run fine.

I dont know about compatibility though...

Yes that wil run fine. Though keep in mind RetrOrangePi isn't that well supported as RetroPie. YMMV.

Yes that wil run fine. Though keep in mind RetrOrangePi isn't that well supported as RetroPie. YMMV.

I noticed this when researching the boards and compatability.
Lot of board features don't work with the armbian base that retrorangepi is built on.
limited hdmi resolutions is one.
could be a problem if you are not using a standard widescreen TV.

Yup, didn't work with my 19" LCD.

I would pay the 15-20 extra dollars for a RPi every day.

as much as i'd love to buy other single board pc's to support them, they just don't have the support.
which boggles my mind.
they are churning out different boards with different features but they don't have the software 100%.
it's a recurring problem with these boards.
