Ok so i took half of locke's idea, and put the drawers from that plastic thing and slid them under the futon amd got rid of the rest of the thing and freed up some room.

 :applaud:

Have you made any other changes? How are you hooking doing the RF only systems?

No recent changes except the hand held stands. I only have the 2600 hooked up. I have to swap cords for the odyssy 3000.

I got it off ebay last year for like $15 shipped. I was the only bidder.

Now that I've got back into collecting, the key seems to be buying whatever comes up for a good price rather than what you want or were looking for.  Usually, when I set out to buy a specific console, I can never find it at a good price.  I keep running across consoles that I don't have, but wasn't necessarily looking for.  Thankfully fun games are fun games regardless of the platform.

fyi There's an Odyssey 3000 on Ebay right now with the box for 30 bucks.

Good lord, a Sega Genesis, Model 2 Sega CD, the plastic Sega CD shelf extender, and a 32X.  Plus a Power Base Converter.  I used to call that rig The Altar of Sega back in the 90s and frequently suspected I was the only one on Earth with one.   :lol  I actually called their damn warehouse to get that extension on the Sega CD.

I picked up the extra Sega Genesis and Sega CD with the shelf extender from a cousin with all his games for next to nothing when he got a Play Station. The 32X I got for Xmas when it came out. Most of that stuff I picked up on the cheep at thrift stores & years sales.

If only they rigged it to a single power brick. Having 3 takes up a lot of valuable space on a multi console setup.

Was watching the Angry Video Game nerd episode on YouTube were he goes ape ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- on all the power bricks. I thought it was funny.

My next step besides the tully im working on will be to rig up something for my racing wheel. I originally intended for a full cab but that was long before i moved into this house. So i was thinking something that can be setup infront of the futon. Even if it just a stand to hold the wheel.

You gotta throw a language switch on that Genesis.  Some of the games do all kinds of dumb ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- when you flip them over to JAP.  Works with the 32X games, too - you just flip the switch immediately after you turn on the system to bypass the region check.  I actually owned both the SegaCD and 32X while they were viable, but I paid all of $90 (IIRC) for the CD and $20 for the 32X.

My mother sold my SMS, Genesis, 32X, and Sega CD collection for $20 less than a week after I went to college.  Yep.  Now I don't call or visit.

Lol. I paid $11 for the genesis on ebay a few years back. Then used gift cards to get the cd about $90 and got the 32x a couple months ago for $20. Still havent even tested the 32x. I need an ac adapter.

I've thought about setting up an ATX power supply as a Bench power supply and running all my consoles that have bricks directly to and just add reciters or DC to DC converters in line for any odd voltage.

So i mentioned the racing wheel earlier and it got me thinking that i also dont have room for a proper computer desk either. So i started doodling a design for a racing setup that can double as a desk when the wheel is detached. So i can pop the wheel off and use a wireless mouse and keyboard for other stuff like pc games, and music recording. I can keep the pc hooked up to the led tv in with the consoles.

Good lord, that looks like my video game life at grandma's house in the 90s.  Pro-tip - Crazy Taxi is not a suitable game to play on a dinky TV stand.

I see. Its a bit wobbly. Plus i have to lean forward.  I need something that sticks out a little more so i can sit all the way back.
Anybody ever test the momo on a ps2 or ps3? Id like to play simpsons road rage but the dolphin isnt doing it for me pcsx2 is a little better but still sucks. Ive heard mixed reviews about it actually working on ps2. Dont have any games to test at the moment.
