ASUS A7N8X-LA

So hopefully this is my last issue with my ION. I replaced the the MB with the ASUS A7N8X and like others mentioned before there was no sound. With help from all of you I installed a fresh version of 2012 ION software thinking that would kick the sound on, but that wasn't the case.  I know the MB was taken out of an old Compaq so I'm wondering is there anything I should do to the BIOS? It shows the IO board in the settings and boots just fine but no sound. The only thing I did notice when it boots up it still shows the audio set as Nforce, not sure if that matters or not.

you might have to bypass the front panel sound connection on the motherboard to have sound out of the rear jacks...
