I ignored them...until they blocked my internet access and made me call and talk to their security department to unlock it....

Yup that's what happened to me.  I could reactivate online, but it was a colossal pain in the ass.  I'm curious about the free ones.... seems like a scam to me.  I don't know which ones are good either.

I use one called private internet access, never had any problems and not really expensive either.

Works on android devices to.

I live in canada, they can't do anything but forward the letter to you. the recording ind. or motion pic guys or lawyers or whoever have no idea who you are... the ISP forwards their request to you.

if you want to stay under the radar, just don't seed. just hit and run. it kills torrents but, it's the giving out of the content that get you in trouble. it's still gray area.
Howard_Casto:
See that's what I'm not getting.  I had seeding turned off.

I wonder if a good rebuttal would be...

you say i stole their work... did they MAKE this MP3? this MP3 isn't theirs is it? Did I take this MP3 from THEM?

or... say you drew a cat... i made a copy of your cat that looks exactly like your cat... but it's not I maked the cat from your cat.
