2005 golden tee freezes up on hole selection

Can some one please help me. I'm pretty mechanical but I have no clue how to program anything so let's get that out of the way first. I could do it with step by step directions. My golden tee freezes up no matter what course you pick as soon as you pick the amount of holes to be played. So I bought a complete flash drive off ebay. It would load then reboot and load then reboot. Guys on another forum said to reload the image on the card but I have no clue how to do that. So I just bought a new hard drive but it does the same thing. The power supply seems to hold at 5volt and 12 volt. What else could be doing this. I just want to buy something to put in here and fix it. I'm kinda thinking video card but I don't know andvits just a guess. Can some one please help me figure this out?

u answered a few questions then jumped right down the rabbit hole without reading what I posted about
the golden tee green/red boards. so I will ask u this and then we carry on
what # is written on the top of u15?
this will tell me a boat load of info about your board.
and btw yes remove the video card and use a red eraser both sides of the pcmi header on the board so as to clean them pins
then reinsert video card and test once

U15 v1.07 but I also have a eagle2.09 but it does the same thing with it in.

stick with 2.09
make sure u clean its pins also before u insert it this time
then we move on
as a rule yes the hard drive will cause that.. but that is down the road , right now we are doing basic's

I forgot to meantion I have no sound even in test mode. Plus I have already changed the hard drive with the same result. I'm putting in the 2.09 now

There's also a little buzzing noise where the sound should be. Just real faint buzzing.

what do u have that will let u read the hard drive and or the ssd ?
like do u have a usb to ide interface or such ?
next step requires that I know , so I will know where to guide u.
now I am working on the understanding we have 5.1 and 12 v both + at the board level correct ?

4.9 and 11.9 and I have no clue how to connect the hard drive. I have two hard drives that do the same thing freezes at hole selection and I have a new complete flash drive that just loads and reboots loads and reboots
