I think we all are. I'm not kidding when I say I'd really love for Steve to make it out. I think he needs a kind of joy and camaraderie in his life.

I think you should go Howard.  Yots and I have been around BYOAC since somewhere around 2009/2010, but you've been around way longer.  I'm sure there's plenty of stories to tell in person which the BYOAC ZapCon bros would like to hear.  I agree about Steve too, he'd probably be surprised by the warm welcome he'd get.  Ehhh, I can make no comment at this stage about my own attendance, not trying to be secretive or anything but I just don't know.  Unlike the year I did go, money is very tight right now.

Sorry I got the thread side-tracked.  It was probably a long shot that I would have got to go anyway, but it might be best if I don't attend.  I seem to bring out the worst in people anymore for whatever reason and I'm just tired of fighting.

So, first of all, Kaneda was behind the whole "If Chinese Democracy is released, you get a free Dr. Pepper" so he's done more for me than 90% of this forum.

Marketing dude that staged some kind of "super geek" apartment complete with a tacky pedestal cabinet that got a lot of online coverage.  People got butthurt because they thought he reflected poorly on them.  Why any of them thought that was really his home is beyond me.

Then there was some drama between him and some KLOVer over a Donkey Kong coin door or some ---steaming pile of meadow muffin---.  I thumbed through a thread and sighed and got on with life.

Eh the only two people that have ever truly gotten on my nerves are ark and X2.  Both are still alright in my book.... we just don't get along is all.  I'd still hug both awkwardly if I met them. 

I think I was gone during the Kaneda thing.  I remember the article about is bedroom, remembered he kind of came off as a --cream-filled twinkie-- in it and that was about it.
