-- ZapCon BYOAC Meetup News -- OK, so we're about a week away! In discussions with locals, friends, and organizers, we've set a loose schedule of events for the weekend. Friday Friday, at 5:00 PM, we're going to meet at the Oak Room, which is just north of the venue. I've reserved space for 25 people, as locals as well as our out-of-town guests can get together for food, beer, and song. It's close to the venue so we won't need to caravan over. Plus, the food is really good and the service is as well. https://www.mesaoakroom.com/ Around 7, some of us are going to caravan over to StarFighters Arcade in Mesa. Many of you have been there, some have not, so we decided to make a quick trip that way. Anyone is welcome. We plan to return to the Convention Center around 9 PM to then participate in ZapCon Contributor Night. Toxicwes has graciously allowed us to bring BYOAC out-of-town guests in that night. It's normally not open to the public, but he recognizes the great cost and commitment many of you have undertaken to come to the show (some of you multiple times), so they're going to allow you in. You MUST have the BYOAC Token to get in. What is that? More later. Saturday Group Photo at 2 PM. Informal dinner at Backyard Taco sometime that night. Ask around for deets. Sunday Sod off. Go home. |

No problem, wish I could have done more, but the stuff with my dad really was a curveball to life. It’ll be nice to see all my friends at the show and get chance to meet some new ones. HaRuMaN, don’t forget the paddle, we have a few newbies to initiate. |
