Ms. Pacman Cocktail Monitor issues
« on: August 15, 2017, 11:48:43 am »
So I have a G07 Electrohome monitor and I am getting horizontal snow lines. I know there are pots that can adjust the vertical hold/horizontal hold, but I'm leery about adjusting them with the thing on. I tried using an insulated screwdriver to turn the pots, but that didn't fit correctly. I do have a allen wrench tool. I do have a folding hex key tool with different sized bits. I'm just not sure if that would be safe to use since it's just plastic and metal. Any suggestions would be appreciated or anything to watch out for when working on it.

Get yourself a set of TV adjustment tools.  Don't use a metal anything on those when on.  You will cause more problems.

These should work

And not sure what you mean by snow lines. Maybe post a picture.

Do yourself a favor and grab one of these:
https://www.ebay.com/p/2-Tuning-Tool-for-RC-Transmitters-INDUCTOR-Coils-Drones-Radios-GC-MPN-8606L/1208147184?_trksid=p2047675.c100012.m1985&_trkparms=ao%3D2%26asc%3D41375%26meid%3D6b6b132359b7427c81594c8086724c27%26pid%3D100012%26

This adjustment tool is made of nylon and is HUGE (11" long) and makes sticking anything into a live monitor super easy and safer for adjusting stuff.

Picture of the monitor. Tried adjusting the V-hold. Did not get an image. I did put the original board back from the 60-1 conversion and that did work so not sure if it is an issue with the board or Jamma adapter.

Can we see a pic of the connectors from the monitor to the PCB?  Maybe you don't have the sync line hooked up correctly.
