Monitor Identification Help - Wells Gardner D9800 [IDENTIFIED]
krick:
A user in the GroovyMAME forum posted some pictures of his monitor and we need help identifying the model.
We're pretty sure it's a Wells Gardner, but not which model.
It appears to have a VGA input, if that helps. The pictures are at the end of this thread...

Ken Layton:
Probably a D9200 or D9400.
krick:
That's what I thought, but the VGA connector doesn't appear to be in the correct spot.
Did later revisions of the D9200 or D9400 come with the VGA port mounted directly on the main board?
lilshawn:
This is the elusive D9810 series that was the last of the digital CRT 27's because the VGA is mounted on the deflection board. I actually have a dead 9810 board on my shelf. the model number can be confirmed as a sticker on the edge of the board to the right of the VGA connector in between the transformer and the capacitor
the video inputs on a separate input/sync board mounted to the frame on the D9200/9400 series so it's def not one of those.
There is literally ZERO documentation on this board. the closest it comes to is the D9500. If you need repair documentation or specs, you might have to contact WG directly.
krick:
Yep. I just found some pics of a D9800 online and it looks like a match...
