Super Modes Installed + Working - GroovyMAME not :(
« on: June 29, 2017, 03:36:40 pm »
So I had groovymame working great last week then i upgraded video cards (HD5450) and went to version 2.0 (same machine, same OS).  The emudrivers installed great, the super modes installed great and work great on my desktop, groovymame UI opens up no problem but when I load a game the sync screws up and I cant for the life of e get it fixed.  Mame and groovymame are version .179, OS in win 7 x64

I tried making a new mame.ini file but that didnt help, I also tried using the non super modes (which also worked just fine in windows desktop) but they didnt work in groovymame.
any advice?

tl:dr
Monitor syncs fine in windows after crtemudriver2.0 super mode install
groovymame 0.179 menu loads but game info screen and game are displayed at a frequency that I can't get to sync
groovymame worked great before upgrade to 2.0

Solved my own problem for people in the future finding this.  I was using mame version 0.179 and crt emudriver 2.0 r 16.2  i don't know if it had to do with the switchres version in mame, but I uninstalled the crt emudrivers, uninstalled the video card, reinstalled the video card, and then reinstalled cret emudriver 2.0 R12.  Installed super modes using vmmaker and all is well.
