OK so a big fan of Nintendo and wanting to create a few cabinets, control panels or even artwork for custom joysticks etc... having a good library to work from is important and also in vector format. There is a lot of great resources around the net and also companies who sell these prints (obviously wont distribute there artwork).. I have used a lot of these resources and noticed a few mistakes or things which aren't just right. So even for those I'll be looking at redraws or touch-ups.
The obvious issues we have is the lack of original artwork, especially this side of the world our eBay doesn't have the catchment and anything US we get hit with our customs/tax charges. So I will be drawing most the images from old scans or reference material, which leads to problems with measurements and placements (hopefully you guys can help here too).
I will be posting the WIP images below as there under construction, awaiting information (measurements, colours) etc... Once I have an established library of images these will be published onto the internet for a people to use on there own projects or restorations.
If anyone has anything Nintendo arcade related that they would be happy to scan and send which is missing then please do, most images can be vectored (i.e. Marquees, CPO, Side-Art, Instruction panels, PC10 marquees, VS. Nintendo instructions). Please also note these are being done in my spare time and do take some time, so if you want something specific I'd recommend using the website which already have these made and purchasing these. If someone has a project running and needs specific artwork I maybe able to bump it up the work-list and send a copy to you prior to my upload.
