They are limited in their range.. and are mid-range heavy. Midrange is the most powerful and damaging of the audio frequency bands... Its why Police / Ambulances used Midrange Sirens. At low volumes... its not that bad... but when there is a lot of external noise around you... you are going to try to crank them up. And or try to make them louder to get a little more bass out of them... And in doing so... the Mids will be Way too powerful... and start damaging your ears pretty quickly. |
