I have a Billabs BL25C90T that I'd like to play several light gun console games on.  Specifically I'd like to play the following games:

Dreamcast - HOTD2, Confidential Mission
PS2 - Time Crisis II, Time Crisis 3, Crisis Zone
XBOX - Silent Scope Complete, HOTD3
WII - Ghost Squad

Do these games need to run in 480i for the guns to work correctly since they are designed to work with NTSC TVs?
In other words, if I convert the console outputs to progressive will the guns still work?  I have read that this Billabs monitor "doesn't do well with interlaced signals" whatever that means.
I have these currently hooked up to my CRT TV using component cables.

Thanks for any advice!

I know the ps2 needs component for the light gun since the gun plugs into the tv. It does not work on a crt pc monitor. Not sure about an arcade monitor.

The guncon2 on the ps2 will work on a pc monitor/arcade monitor if using a pc and emulator however.

Im pretty sure the dreamcast will work though
