Suggestion on good FLAC to MP3 converter ?
« on: May 13, 2017, 03:39:16 pm »
Hey All,

I value the input of the BYOAC community highly.
Members have turned me onto MP3 Tag & MP3 Gain, two programs I use almost daily for my jukebox PC.
Wondering if anyone can suggest a good, free FLAC to MP3 converter ?
If so perhaps provide a link ?

Thanks all

yotsuya

NCH Switch is great, but don't be a cheap bastard and shell out for it.

I use freeRIP mp3 converter. it will basically easily convert anything to anything and also rips CD's to mp3 directly.

free version works but has some speed limitations. (single core/thread coding) but otherwise operates fine.

full version (like 20 bucks) will rip as many cores/threads as your machine has. My FX8350 will rip 8 at a time and do a whole CD in about 20 seconds. My overclocked 9590 will halve that.
