Custom ROMs
« on: May 15, 2017, 05:45:38 pm »
Hi,

I'm new here. I am wanting to add some ROMS to my MAME.

Does anyone make ROMS you can buy that are not normally available.

I am specifically interested in anything DC or Marvel.

there are roms floating out there that are hacks and customized versions of said roms. You would need a custom compiled version of mame as well to use these. We cannot point you to or discuss any location to get them here. You will have to search those things outside of this website. The internet is a vast library of wealth and information and anything can be found with diligence.

There's HBMAME, but no DC or Marvel.  Lotta Neo Geo.

There were some DC and Marvel PC fighters.
Injustice(DC) is a PITA to get working unless you're using a controls interface that shows up as xbox360 gamepads.

I'm not even sure what the question is.  There are plenty of official marvel and dc games in mame.... of all the popular franchises actually.  You've got beat-em-ups and fighters... and that's about it because they are super heroes.
