Shame it needs to be soldered to the GP10s though, PnP would be better
I'm guessing that was done because many people won't want to mount it above the GPIO pins. From the description, it only appears to use a single pin. So it's a bit of a waste to use up another 11 pins just for mounting purposes.
Anyway, it's a nice idea, and long overdue. I can't understand why the RPi designers have never included on on/off switch.
