Mala - Error reading game list file

I just started randomly getting the "error reading game list file" in Mala & it will not start. I have to control+alt+delete to shut Mala down.

I read someone deleted all the game list files in the Mala directory & that fixed it. It did not fix it for me.

Can you open the malagamelisteditor and maybe put a random game in or delete one and resave the list?  Maybe that will rewrite the file.   I dunno, I haven't seen that message personally.  What version of MAME are you using?  I assume your on mala 1.82.

It won't let me open Mala at all
