Woo, mother scratchers! It's here!

I woke up at 5:45 to put the finishing touches on some of my stuff. Later today, I'll go pick up two friends from the airport, and the hijinks will begin.

Post all your photos, badge accomplishments, and anything else here in this thread. For those you guys that can't make it, I hope you guys can live vicariously through us.

I appreciate the offer. I am having an arcade party for my friend on Saturday. We are going to have a Championship Sprint tournament. She is well enough for now to leave the house. She has major cabin fever. This latest round of Chemo has laid her up good. Drink some beers for me. I will be there next year.

There is no reason to strive for a Mame PC to run this game. After standing for lon enough to beat one world, I can unconditionally say this is a far better console experience. Get yourself a Dreamcast or run NullDC and play with your homies on the couch.

I'm sure this picture will make some of you guys wet your pants, but trust me, this looks like ass. My phone is diffusing the light coming from the t molding, but you can clearly see each individual LED. It looks like somebody took rope lights and glued them to the side of the machine. If it could diffuse like this and look like it in real life, well, that would be a lot different.

Just dropped delusional off at the airport. ZapCon 5 is officially over for me. It was a good time, and a very fun event. Some final thoughts on the weekend...

First off, if you're a local and you're reading this, thank you for helping me try to show all the out-of-towners a great time. We are definitely the best arcade collecting community in America, bar none.

Vigo, you had the baddest ass trucker hat there at the show. Glad we could enjoy those awesome burritos and talk about the future together. You'll always be one of my best friends in this hobby.

Harveybirdman, you're one of my other best friends. Glad you could bring the wife along. Nothing wrong with a little Afternoon Delight sprinkled in among a game of Centipede or 4.

NotThatJennifer, I owe you a sticker sheet. I'm bummed the stickermaker got screwed up at work, otherwise you would have blown everybody away. Check the mail. Your enthusiasm is infectious and Laythe is a very lucky man. Please name your first child Alpha-Tron.

Laythe, always a pleasure, man. Sorry that we couldn't take pictures in front of the Chito machines. Maybe next year.

DeL, I'm glad you enjoyed all the extra behind the scenes time we spent at Arcadenut's house. Arcadenut is a solid guy. Glad that somebody outside the Valley could see what a great person he is. We all know that here already.

Taco Town Charlie is one bad hombre. And I mean that in a good way.

Philsey, thanks for hanging out with me and goofing around at HaRuMaN's booth. My favorite moment of the weekend was running Custer's Revenge on his machines without him knowing it.

HaRuMaN, thanks for letting us store the Star Wars chair at your booth for a while. You rock.

To my other Vulcan brothers, be there next year or be square.

You other Tirekickers are on notice, get your asses out here or GTFO.

If I missed you or forgot about you, it's because the weekend was such a whirlwind. But if you made it out to the event, and you had a good time, that's all that matters. See you next year the third weekend in April.

Ive neen hitting up the goodwill every week. Bought what i thought was a really cool monitor with 4 different types of inputs but got it home and was just an old black and white surveillance monitor. Put an add online and got a free 19 inch but its way too big. If i cant wait i might do a small tv until i find a monitor but idk.
