I Know MAMEWah is Essentially Dead.....
« on: April 19, 2017, 06:25:40 am »
....but I still like it. I have an issue that I hope somebody might be able to help with.  I finally updated MAME (0.134 to 0.184). Since my original HD wouldn't hold all the ROM's, I started over.  I can't get the MAMEWah list generation function to work correctly.  In the MAME.ini file  if I choose "Rom Folder" I get a list of Rom names.  If I choose "rom Folder vs Listxml" I get nothing.  I hope somebody can help an old fart that doesn't like his cheese moved.     (edit) HMMM  Maybe the Lightspeed MAMElister?  Just found it below

The Mame xml format has changed since then. Mamewah cannot generate lists anymore. I now use a tool called RomLister to generate my lists.

Hope it helps.
