Rowe CD100 J&K Jukebox - wires and cam switch issues
« on: April 08, 2017, 08:14:34 pm »
Ok, on to the next jukeboxes I bought back for my brothers at the same time as my L....

Those that didn't read my previous post on my sound issue with a CD100L, we shipped 3 x jukeboxes from LA to Perth, Western Australia so there would've been a fair amount of movement.  The boxes worked before leaving LA.

There is a J and a K both with the same issue which makes me think it is something simple.
I turn the jukebox on, select a song, it spins around to where the correct disc is sitting but then the arm doesn't go over and collect the disc and transfer it to the player.  We can do this manually though.  Immediate thought is the transfer motor but the fact that it's the exact same thing on 2 machines makes me wonder if it isn't just a wire or something simple? What's the chances both motors died in transit??

The second issue with the K is that a box fell off the wall of the interior so a few wires were pulled out - see attached photos - any idea where these wires go??

Thanks in advance for your help :-)
