ms pacman joystick suggestions

I have a coffee table ms. pacman.  the joystick has the metal connectors that make it move.  i keep having to bend these back.  Do you know of a good solution.  i have seen a joystick that has a hard plastic instead of metal but cannot find it again.  Please help.
