Help with MAMEUIFX

In the default game options, I unchecked the artwork options (Bezels,overlays...etc) as I noticed some games will display on a smaller area of the screen to make room for the marquee, overlay...etc. However despite the default game options, individual games via the properties menu still have those checked.
I hate this, I just want the game to show it's normal full screen.

Even if I uncheck the artwork options, the game screen size is still the same, it doesn't fill up the area where it shows the marquee..etc. How do I make it so those particular games are played at the proper full aspect ratio?

in game use the tab button to get into the settings and under video options select the proper selection to make it not use the artwork (ie. standard 4:3 etc.)

I'd like the video to be standard on all games, not just one. The default game options doesn't seem to effect globally. That's a lot of games to go through doing this manually.
