Rockola 1432 Rocket Popularity Meter Part?
« on: March 29, 2017, 10:06:30 pm »
I have a restored Rockola 1432 50-51' Rocket jukebox that I have had for 20+ years, and just recently bought a used popularity meter off eBay and screwed it onto the mounting bracket, but it seems to be missing something that is supposed to tap the gear to increment the dials.  Does anyone know if there is some other part needed to make the mechanism tap the dial notches or have a close-up picture of either a 1432 or 1434 Rocket or SuperRocket (same mechanism) so I could see what it is that is supposed to advance the dials?  The juke works fine and the arms and platters swing around normally, but there really is nothing i can see that is supposed to rub against the dial notches which are a few millimeters away from the selection mechanism.  I'm assuming there must be some other part that attaches to the selection arm but would have no idea what it looks like.  Thanks in advance!!

Can you post some photos?
