jpac safe for monitor?
« on: March 18, 2017, 02:43:38 am »
My neo geo has finally been converted to mame! Don’t sweat it- It is 100% reversible as I saved old harness and board, and made my own jamma harness for it. It only emulates neo geo games. I like this solution better than the 161 in 1 multicart. I would like to thank byoac and calamity. I am using windows 10 with an HD 5450 and followed his guide here. Surprisingly, my acer lcd displayed the screen still after I hit „enable edid emulation“, albeit at 640x480 res as expected. Also, the cleanstretch param was invalid. Omitting it resulted in mame working as I would expect.

Will the jpac protect my monitor through the whole process including start/boot?
