What ive been doing (works most of the time) is set the fire button (for those types of games) to left and right axis on a regular spinner and each joystick direction as fire too.  I play forgotten worlds and Tron like this among others.

Is there a better way anyone?  I'd love to hear about it :)

I have a pedal from a wheel DFGT, so i put the fire button to the pedal and step on it when want to fire, it works pretty well but im getting the push pull spinner anyway, im sick i know... its like a drug to have the perfect arcade to me, cant stop and this is the last piece of the puzzle...

If you want to play Discs of TRON and some racing games you may find it easier to use a 2-switch rocker pedal instead of using two pedals with one switch.

The 2-switch rocker pedal here can be connected using a stereo audio jack  (or similar) to wire the pedal switches in parallel with two buttons.   ;D

Works great for the high/low function in Discs of Tron.
For high/low turn the pedal so the cable is in the back.

For gas/brake turn the pedal so the cable is on the left.   ;D
