Rockola 469 problem

Hi everybody,

I'm new to this forum.
Since a short time I'm the proud owner of a Rockola 469.
When I bought it it played fine, after transport it started producing a buzzing noise upon power up.
This buzz got bigger when the record started playing.
Did some research and found the schematics online.
After removing the left driver board the jukebox played again and the buzz was gone.
Only the right speaker works.
Apparently R19LR is burned on the left driver board.
Tried replacing the board with a spare one, again this same resistor started smoking.
Does anyone know what causes this to happen?

I would guess something shorted after the driver causing too much load.  Check the speaker wires, speaker, transformer, etc.
