Vintage Toy Vending in Bathrooms
« on: February 24, 2017, 11:57:19 am »
Looking for info...

Does anyone remember in the 60s-80s - there used to be vending machines in the bathrooms along interstates, turnpike service areas, that sold small toys and toiletries - toys like magnetic Scottie Dogs, combs, smoking pets, plastic toy telescopes, etc. What were these, who sold supplies to fill them, etc?> The name Traveler's Valet sticks in my mind for some reason, but Googling has been fruitless.

I don't remember seeing those in bathrooms out here in Arizona, but I do remember them in grocery stores. Oh man, I used to love the Smoking Monkey.
