I would recommend clamping a sacrificial board on top that you can drill through. The laminate will be less likely to chip that way. Make sure you drill down into the laminate otherwise it may try to separate from the force of the drill.
You could also make a hardboard template with your holes drilled where you want them. Clamp the template on top of your laminate and use a pattern routing bit to route the holes. A router bit would be less likely to chip than a drill bit.
Excellent. We shoot footage for a laminate installation video. but i'm not sure sure how we're going to edit it yet.
Have you guys ever used laminate on a CP and drilled through it? I have a restore where I am doing that. I am nervous to ruin the laminate I put on.
