Speakers fitted.
Amplifier arrived.
Amplifier fitted to the cabinet, sounds great too.
Time to work on the Control Panel Polycarbonate sheet.
I created a template Control Panel so that I could sandwhich the Polycarbonate between the real control panel and the template in preparation for cutting.
Polycarbonate placed between the real CP and template CP to prevent the sheet from flexing while I drill out the button holes.
From what I have read the flexing of plexi/lexan/polycarbonate when cutting or drilling is what causes the material to crack.
Holes drilled through the Polycarbonate.
Just need to drill out the joystick holes now.
The end result. The angles at the bottom of the CP was cut with a jigsaw using a plastic cutting blade.
Spray painted the Control Panel black, I noticed that most real arcade machines have a simple Control Panel, so I followed suit.
Nice shiny control panel.
Added buttons and ball tops.
Ipac2 mounted and ready for wiring.
