A little help for a newb please...
« on: January 20, 2017, 03:22:11 pm »
I have decided to rebuild an old arcade system from years ago and seem to be so close but have a few things that just are driving me crazy.

I have all the lates versions of:
Maximus Arcade
MAME 0.181
A full set of MAME 0.181 ROMS

I have installed and configured my system (Xarcade w/trackball controller) and moved one game (frogger.zip) into the configured ROM folder. Launched the program and worked perfectly. I have since tried adding many different ROMS (pacman, galaga, etc.) into the same folder and scanning so they are seen. Not a single one runs but simply gives a black screen forcing a manual shutdown...

Any ideas? All help is appreciatted.

What happens if they run on their own through Mame? do you get any errors there?
