Electrohome G07 FBO 13" gaming monitor

So did I shoot myself again? I'm sure I did... read on..

I picked up a 1983 vintage upright casino game to convert to pac-man for my best friend as a gift. The monitor was crisp and clear! I figured I'd rotate the chassis, wire in a JAMMA harness and be in business in no time flat..

Hit the power switch... and nothing. No picture at all.

I have 120 volts to the monitor and can see the neck glowing. The JAMMA board works, even swapped it from CGA to VGA and it outputs fine to an LCD on VGA..

Is it possible the monitor isn't CGA? I can't find any specs online. Frak.

G07 FBO is a CGA monitor.  Try turning up the screen control knob on the back of the flyback.

Even though it was nice and bright with the casino board? I'll give it a try

You are the man! How did you know?

And yes the 60 in 1 menu music is annoying.

Tomorrow there will be much wiring and making of holes.

Basically if you have neck glow then you should have some form of raster. You would have either gotten an image or raster lines. Plus 60-1 seem to have a seeker signal. Glad it was easy.

menu music can be turned off....
PCB dipswitch 4 to On = Test Mode, turn on game, then set System Dip Switch 2 "Game Demo music" to Off

It will still play as soon as it sees a credit inserted, just not in demo mode (credits 0)

I just walked out to the workshop to confirm it. No music when no credit present, soon as you drop a coin in away it goes..
