I've been on the fence about buying a snow blower for years and finally got one last month.
Every time I look at the upcoming weather, I feel disappointed that my purchase is not yet justified.

--- Quote from: pbj on December 12, 2017, 09:48:46 am ---It is truly a wonder of our modern times that has given us the reality of placing 3 or more people in a room and revealing one to be an eskimo once the topic of cold weather comes up.

Why were you exiled from the igloo village?

Did the frozen ones not understand your love for that ice bear?

Hundreds of weapons and items, multiple endings, multiple playable characters, transformations ,  special moves, items with special moves, an entire extra castle, optional "familiars", bosses bigger than the screen, etc.

Not sure how the weapons are weird, like the rune sword spelling out Verboten? Doesn't sound weirder than Samus rolling up into a ball.  I loved Super Metroid so I wont be saying anything bad about it, but I will say I liked SotN better. I still have my original PSX disc. If you think CV peaked at SCV4, you've missed a ton of GREAT CV games especially the trilogy on GBA.

back on topic, chuffed I got Mighty Number Nine for $2.97 . Its worth $3, but its no MegaManX

So much this. You get me man, you really get me

I like it in theory, until I start to play it.  I dunno, the controls just weren't tight enough for me or something.  Then again all Castlevania games have been plagued with odd controls.... except for Castlevania IV of course, it's perfect.  All of those extra things you mentioned... that's part of the problem.  Metroid only gives you what you need to keep you focused on the task at hand.  SOTN, not so much.  I'll remind you all that SOTN originally didn't sell well, so I'm not the only one that was thrown off by it.   Like I said, I intend to give it a second chance later on.

I got pissed it was never released in English on the Sega Saturn, so I totally skipped that one.  The GBA games were alright but I got bored 2/3s of the way through.  The weird one with the mirrors and constant companion on DS was dullsville.

Howard_Casto:
The only one that I've liked in quite some time was the xbox 360 Lords of Shadow reboot.  It's very underrated.  Now it's sequel... that's crap.  I trudged through it just for the story and turns out it wasn't even good for that... it just... ends.  I hadn't felt that ripped off since the nes days.
