I was actually kind of surprised - I checked several recycle bins and came up dry. People have obviously cut down their soda consumption. When I was in Vancouver I felt like everyone there only drank coffee or room temperature water. I finally got my hands on a Diet Coke.....served warm. Damnedest thing.

I felt like an idiot compiling that spreadsheet after they pulled the plug.... Vindication is mine.

Here's the thing... I just threw out three buckets of caps after the rewards program ended. I didn't think I'd ever need them again. So I'd probably had 200 bucks worth of them as well.

My Doctor suggested cutting out all pop just to see if it'd help my headaches and hypertension and to my surprise, after a few months of only water, it did! Not only that, but my metabolism stabilized and I've been slowly but steadily losing weight ever since. I had to go cold turkey to quit pop, but now I might drink one a week or something if I happen to be eating out... just no more Mountain Dew... it's the devil's drink and after one sip of that sweet, sweet nectar I'd be hooked again.

I think there might be a few stray caps around here somewhere... it'd probably be good for a few bucks.

Looked in couch, in drawers, over at grandma's ect..... I've found around 50 to 60 of these caps lying around and she still drinks the stuff, so I'll get a little out of the promotion anyway.
