  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi, I'm new to this forum and Maximus Arcade. Is there a way to have different emulators utilize different controls and gamepads?

I want to use my X-Arcade pad for my MAME emulator, SNES, and GBA. However, I have also linked my PS1, PS2, and N64 emulators to MA, and I would like to use my xbox 360 controllers for those emulators. In addition, I obviously need the control scheme to be different for the N64 vs PS1 & 2. Is this possible? Or is there a way to just default to the emulator's default gamepad and controls?

Also, I am trying to figure out how to set images for games within MA. I came across a discussion on another site saying that you can take screenshots within MA and it will set them as the game's preview pic. I enabled "update screenshot/marquee in real time" and I assigned a button to screen capture and I hear a noise like it took the screenshot, however, when I go back to the previews they are just a black pic.

Any help is greatly appreciated. I feel like I might just be a noob and missing something obvious.
