Mame Highscore save on Xbox?

Johnny:
Has anyone managed to save higscore in the Xbox version of MAME?  :o
I'm using MAMEOX v0.76.1b and tried it with the latest highscore.dat for MAME Pc version, but that does not work.  >:(
