Some of my arcade projects
« on: January 20, 2019, 05:20:08 pm »
Hello everyone,

Yannick, 44 years old from France. I'm new to this forum .

I  love  video games and arcade games for 30 years,I also like woodworking, electronics, computers, 3D modeling...
I made several  arcade projects from scratch: bartop, full size arcade cabinet virtual pinball and some more original cabinet

Here are some of my achievements:

Full size cabinet, vewlix style

2 players Bartop
raspberry project

Hybrid project : Cocktail table, virtual pinball, bartop
mini pc inside

Mini Virtual pinball (24"/17"/7")  "Plants vs zombies"
with lot's of 3d printed elements

Mini Virtual Pinball "Ghostbusters"
The one I'm currently working on, not finished yet, mini machine  but with lot's of toys, lights, 3d printed things. inside...

Homemade Leaf Switch
to replace noisy microswitch with homemade leaf switch
Very usefull for Virtual pinball and arcade machine.
I made a tutorial for this, the stl files can be download from thingiverse : https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2817066

I can post more info and photos on these constructions if you want more details.

Seriously?

Those are some great builds. Do you have any in depth documentation? I love that little white bastard.

That hybrid is awesome!  Would love to see some in depth build threads.

Thanks,

The hybrid project is not printed in 3D but made of wood !
It has been finished 2 years ago. Didn't have a 3D printer at this time .

I will take the time to create a dedicated topic for this original project to show the different steps in pictures.

here are some videos of this thing ;-)

Nice!  I really dig that hybrid machine in particular.

It's nice to see a new and innovative machine posted here that is both really cool and totally unlike what has been done here before.  Bravo!
