| 80's movies I can show my kids (quality not necessary) |

So I've been slowly exposing my kids (boys age 9 and 10) to 80's action adventure flicks that I loved as a kid. Every friday we try and have a family movie night and I take every opportunity to expose them to cheesy movies ;D So far we have done: Krull (loved it) Big trouble in little china (loved it) the explorers (thumbs up) jaws Jaws 2 (they thought it was cheesy) jaws 3 (watched about 5 minutes and even they said it was dumb lol) Willow (loved it)--the videogame for this one is surprisingly ok.. National treasure movies (not 80's but they still love the treasure hunt shows) The last starfighter flight of the navigator ghostbusters franchise next on the list: battle beyond the planets maybe some king solomon's mines Any other long forgotten gems you guys can think of in the "space quest" "treasure hunt" vein of movies? Doesn't have to be 80's... |

I think Alan Quartermain had another one besides king Solomons mine that was pretty good. I always liked Firewalker when I was a lad and if you get them into Chuck Norris there are tons of gems from him in the 80s |
