Soul Calibur Restoration
« on: October 25, 2016, 10:48:35 am »
I acquired on the cheap what is supposed to be a Soul Calibur cabinet, but I havent seen a model like this before.

I'd still like to restore it into a nice Soul Calibur cabinet, but I can't find stickers or arcade art for it.

Any ideas on where to look?

This was a 3 player cabinet used for games like Mercs and Battletoads, though the 3 slide coin door is the only evidence left.

Soul Calibur art seems rare but there have been efforts to scan it. Googling "Soul Calibur CPO" gives some hits so better start from there.

Good luck :)

So would it make more sense to restore it for Mercs or Battle toads?

Does it work? If so, might just want to make it into a nice looking Soul Calibur.

guy on ebay has the art from the kit:

They has it "or best offer" so maybe offer them $100 shipped for the pair? I ironically, its the art I pulled off my HS5 cab:

Isn't that Soul Edge art, not Soul Calibur?

Unfortunately, I think those stickers are too long because the sides of my cabinet at two separate pieces.
