Quick Sidewinder Question!
« on: June 15, 2002, 03:39:53 pm »
Hey guys... quick question for you all.

I just hacked my Sidewinder (all 14 points). Each button is recognized in the config, and my SNES, NES, GBA, etc. emulators recognize it BEAUTIFULLY!

My question is, since I'm building a MAME cabinet... why MAME .60 with EMU LOADED frontend doesn't recognize my buttons?

When I start a game, I try to remap the buttons and such, but my furious clicks don't repsond at all?

There must be a simple solution to this. THANKS FOR ANY HELP!!! Hope to be playing soon.

-Bob

Ok, after 2 hours of pulling my hair out....

I'm installed several other Front Ends. None of them load games even 1/10 as fast as EmuLoader does....

But whenever I make adjustments to the EMULOADER config, none of them stay....

Like, when I check the box for JOYSTICK and CHEATS... and click OK, they don't stay......

So if ANYONE uses EmuLoader in their cab, and can help me, please respond!

(Also, I guess, if you know of a loader that loads decently fast.... Mame Classic loads soooo slow....)

Thanks guys...
-Bob

You might wanna rename your topic.  I know it started out as a sidewinder question, but realy it's an Emuloader question.  You'll get a lot of sidewinder users (like myself) to read it, but not many Emuloader users.

just a thought.  :)
