LED replacement
« on: October 01, 2016, 08:04:18 pm »
I bought some LED buttons off Amazon and they work fine except one of the LEDs burnt. I have been looking everyplace to find a replacement LED but am not having any luck.  It's an LED that is in a collar that kind of snaps onto the top of the cherry switch.

Does anybody know where I could purchase a replacement as I have looked everywhere without much luck.  It's the black LED piece in the picture.

Welcome aboard, bbkobeman.   ;D

That looks like a standard pushbutton LED/socket.

The part you need to replace is the red part (LED/current limiting resistor/holder) that plugs into the black part. (socket)

Here are several sources for replacement LEDs.

Paradise Arcade Shop - http://www.paradisearcadeshop.com/369-button-leds

JAMMA Parts - https://www.jammaparts.net/leds-micros/53-colored-single-leds.html

P.S. Is the LED burnt out or is it just installed backward?
