Talked to a back surgeon that's a Patriots fan.  He says Tony Romo is going to make a full recovery from his minor injury.

Worst news I've gotten in months.

He's 36 and experienced significant injuries the last couple of years.  He's about done anyway.

Now that Peyton Manning has retired. I was surprised to see that Tony is not on the list of top 6 oldest current NFL players list.

The guy is only 36.

I'm looking forward to what Dak Prescott can really do.  He's looked good in the pre-season so far

Thanks again, Hoopz!!

Week 1: Vikes beat the Titans Hoping that its too early in the season for them to choke.

Sigh.....

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/vikings-stop-practice-after-teddy-bridgewater-suffers-apparent-knee-injury/

Can I change my pick?
You don't lock in until just before the kickoff of the game you picked.  Change as much as you want.  Just throw me a bone and let me know if you've changed it AFTER I updated the original post please.    ;)  I don't want to miss it.

Thanks, Hoopz! I guess I will lead with Packers beat the Jaguars. If I go down week 1, then I will only have my own team to blame.

Week 1: Texans over Bears
Same.
It's probably better if you typed it out or copy/pasted instead of quoting his going forward.  It's easier for me when I scan the thread to see a highlighted post v. a quote.  You're set this week so if you make it to Week 2, I'd appreciate your help.

And oh yeah, Go Bears!   ;D

Still plenty of time for anyone else to get in this.  As long as you pick before one of the MNF games, you'll be set.

It doesn't look like we have anyone new this year yet.   :dunno

Dak looks good.  A couple of overthrows but I think he's going to work.  Was a very tight game throughout.

If he has an up and down first half of the season, think Romo gets the job back when he is ready to play?

Of course he does. Starters don't lose their job to injury. If he comes back and sucks though, they'll probably pull him right away.

Bledsoe lost his to injury.  And ended up playing for the Cowboys after that.   :P

Good job to Cleveland for trading out of the #2 spot and passing on Carson Wentz.  Josh McCown will be the answer to your prayers.

True, but Jerry Jones gives back rubs to Tony Romo, so he's got that going for him.
